Learn how to make 100% natural bar soap using an all vegetable base and the cold- process method. You'll have fun creating your own special blend, using essential oils, herbs, oatmeal, and beautiful pigments. Participants will leave with over 2 pounds of custom-crafted soap, a soapmaking mold, an instruction booklet, safety glasses, and their own respirator mask with organic gas vapor filters.
NOTE: We will be using lye in this class. All class participants must have a suitable respirator mask with an organic gas vapor filter. A premium mask is included in the class fee at the wholesale value of $35. Students are free to purchase their own mask elsewhere and they will receive a $35 credit however the mask must be suitable for organic gas. A basic N95 or or typical filtered spray painting respirator will not be accepted.
Our classroom has 6 socially distant work stations for either single students or co-habitating couples. Class fees are per person.
