Paella Valencia is a classic Spanish comfort dish. It originated in Valencia Spain in the 18th century and has become a staple of Spanish cuisine. Innumerable variants can be found throughout Spain and the Spanish speaking world....the common ingredients always being rice, paprika, and saffron.
Learn how to make this classic dish for yourself. Students have the choice of making either a delicious Chicken or Vegetarian Paella to take home at the end of class.
Class fees are per person.
Class is limited to 8 Students
Masks are optional for vaccinated students.

Kari Ray has lived in 24 houses, 7 states and 4 countries. Her husband retired from the military in 2014 and with their 3 daughters they moved to the Middle East. It was there that Kari's love for cooking found a foothold in ethnic cuisines. She has cooked alongside, learning from top chefs in France, Spain and India as well as in the humble homes of refugee women from around the world. She has recently moved to Ithaca and is excited to share her passion for foreign foods with you.
All class fees are non-refundable except in the case of class cancellation due to severe weather or instructor illness.
A credit for a reschedule may be available at the discretion of the instructor and only up to 10 days before the scheduled date of the class.
